# Understand your balances (/help-center/balances)

Open **Money → Balances** to see your holdings by coin and network. A coin on Ethereum and the same coin on Polygon appear as separate rows.

<AppPicture name="balances" alt="Balances with a separate prepaid fee balance, three asset holdings, and columns showing where each holding sits." caption="Your fee credit and your crypto holdings appear separately. Amounts shown are sample data." />

## Read the asset table [#read-the-asset-table]

| Column | What it means |
| --------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **In addresses** | Coins still in customer deposit addresses, before they are collected. |
| **In treasury** | Coins consolidated in the master wallet. |
| **In transit** | Coins currently moving, such as during a sweep or payout. |
| **Held by MolnPay** | Coins held in MolnPay custody, including payments at pooled invoice addresses. |
| **Owed to customers** | The customer balance your business is responsible for. |
| **Surplus** | Assets remaining after those customer balances are accounted for. |

A negative surplus means the asset holdings do not cover the amount owed. Investigate that position before using those funds elsewhere.

## Find and export a balance [#find-and-export-a-balance]

Use **Search asset or chain**, **All chains**, and **All assets** to narrow the table. **Export** downloads the table data. The summary tiles show the number of assets and chains and whether any position is under-collateralised.

## The prepaid fee balance is separate [#the-prepaid-fee-balance-is-separate]

The **Prepaid fee balance** card pays MolnPay's fees. It is non-refundable service credit. Sending funds to a fee top-up address does not add them to your own crypto wallet, and depositing into your own wallet does not automatically mean you topped up fees.

Use **Top up fees** for service credit and **Deposit** for your own wallet. [Plans and fee balance](/help-center/billing) explains the difference.

## Move your money [#move-your-money]

The **Money** menu contains Deposit, Withdraw, Transfer, and Swap. Withdrawals go from your own wallet to an approved withdrawal address. [Withdraw and transfer](/help-center/withdrawals) explains the preparation.

If the page says balances could not be loaded, reload it later. That message means the balance is unavailable; it does not mean it is zero.
