# Choose networks and coins (/help-center/networks)

Open **Wallets → Networks & coins** to see the networks available to your merchant. Open a network's row to inspect its coins and their availability.

## Choose customer deposit networks [#choose-customer-deposit-networks]

The **Wallet service** column is for the deposit addresses you issue to your own customers. Switch on the networks you want to use. Your plan's included network allowance and any extra cost appear above the table.

For a live merchant that has not made a selection, no wallet-service networks are enabled. In test mode, every network is initially on until you choose. Make your intended selection before going live.

## Invoices and your own wallet [#invoices-and-your-own-wallet]

Invoices, hosted checkout, and your own wallet use all networks available to the merchant. The wallet-service selection is specific to customer deposit addresses.

## Check availability [#check-availability]

A listed network may temporarily stop issuing new addresses. Read the notice on the page for the reason. Existing customer addresses can keep receiving while new issuance is paused.

A coin can also have deposits or payouts disabled independently. Check the network detail page before telling a customer which asset to send.

## Match the network when sending [#match-the-network-when-sending]

Use the exact coin and network named in the payment instructions. A matching symbol alone is not enough. Test-mode payments use each network's test coin; they do not become live funds when you later go live.

For developers, [money representation](/concepts/money) explains why amounts and decimals must be read for each coin on each chain.
