Update your business details

Change the business name and website in the profile form, then save. Use a name your customers recognize so the checkout page is easy to identify.

Your website URL and your verified domain are separate. Saving a website address does not verify that your business controls it.

Verify a domain

Find the domain verification section on Business profile. Start a claim for your domain and follow one of the proof methods offered by the screen, such as a DNS record, a page tag, or a verification file. Copy the proof exactly and use the screen's check controls to follow verification.

You may need access to your DNS provider or website files. Ask the colleague who manages your website to apply the proof if you cannot do it yourself.

What verification affects

A verified domain is used for restrictions on API key origins, webhook destinations, and checkout return URLs. When setting up those integrations, use URLs on your verified domain and check any validation message the form shows.

Manage API keys and Set up webhooks explain the integration controls.

Checkout settings and account details

Payments → Checkout contains settings for what payers see. Settings → Account contains information about you and your merchants. Make sure you are editing the intended merchant before saving its business profile.
